Good Evening!
Things have been coming along quite wonderfully around here lately.. we’re so close to the finish-line with recording and we are just over a week away from mixing our brand new album. We are truly excited!

VAN DYKE PARKS!
We are beyond thrilled to announce that the incredible and brilliant, Van Dyke Parks has written an orchestral arrangement for us, on a song featured our upcoming album!
We have been such huge fans of Mr. Parks for years, so to have the opportunity to work with him is beyond our imagination.. truly a privilege. For those of you unfamiliar with his work, his history of musical accomplishments and contributions is staggering, as displayed in his extensive solo artist career, his work in film, television and theatre, as well as his incredible work with others: The Beach Boys and Brian Wilson, U2, Joanna Newsom, Randy Newman, Harry Nilsson, Ringo Starr, Rufus Wainwright and countless others. (He even wrote the orchestral arrangement for the song “The Bare Neccessities” in Disney’s “The Jungle Book” film!)
The song that features his arrangement on our record is called, “Clockwork” and we cannot wait for you to hear it! His arrangement is so detailed and intricate and It truly takes the song into new musical territories for us. The arrangement features a few new instruments for us as well: Flutes, Bass Clarinets and Double-Bass, (in addition to heaps of Violins, Violas and Cellos.) Recording this lush arrangement was definitely our biggest musical undertaking thus far and we are so very pleased with how it all turned out. And we feel so grateful to have made these new and wonderful friendships with the musicians and Mr. Parks, along the way.
Again, we couldn’t feel more privileged and honor to have Van Dyke Parks’ incredible contribution on this upcoming album of ours! Such an incredible experience for us and we cannot wait to share it with you later this Summer.
